Charges and Timescales

It is difficult, from the outset, to estimate how much testing will be required for a given project, so we offer an initial free consultation period. This allows us to provide an estimate of the cost and time. However, the final decision is down to the customer. We can offer a fixed price arrangement where testing is done in limited, pre-defined units of time or an unlimited arrangement where testing is charged on an on-going basis.

Whatever the arrangement, we appreciate the need to keep testing costs within a sensible budget that suits the customers needs and is appropriate to the scale of the project. We ensure that your time and money is spent in the most efficient manner possible and we keep you informed all the way.

Our rates for testing are £40 plus VAT per man-hour for off-site testing and from £50 plus VAT per man-hour for on-site testing. This is equivalent to $70 and $85 per man hour.

Testing can be scheduled to suit the customer's requirements. Much of the timing is down to the customer and the response times of the development teams. Previous testing projects have taken from 3 hours to 12 months elapsed time! It all depends on the scale of the system being tested, the quality of the submitted software and the thoroughness required.
